Lloyd's Transfer & Storage is a full service moving and storage relocation company serving Northern Virginia. We're a international agent for North American Van Lines.

Lloyd's Transfer & Storage was started by the Lloyd family of Clarke County, Virginia in 1931 with not much more than a truck and a hay wagon. For the most part we moved hay and equipment for local farmers in the early years.

As the 1940's came and went the company grew to several moving vans and focused more on furniture and household items. In 1953 we became an agent for North American Van Lines and have been hauling household goods, electronics and commercial offices locally, long distance and world-wide ever since.

After over 75 years in business Lloyd's Transfer & Storage is still family owned and operated.

We have the best, full time labor force of any moving company in the area and our reputation reflects our commitment to you our customer. The foreman on each of our moves is either one of our partners or a long-trusted employee, retaining the "hands-on personalized touch" that has been our hallmark since 1931. Each of our employees undergoes extensive training, drug testing and a probationary period. Courteous and professional movers are our greatest asset. Unlike our competition, we have never hired labor off the street. Each of our employees, partners, and contractors is a full time professional mover.
